David Susskind
Friday, 10 March, Nonna and I went to the CCLJ to celebrate Purim. We had and excellent dinner with the new restaurant management. By chance we were sitting next to David Susskind. If ever Belgium should start a list of living national treasures, I am certain that Susskind would be in the top ten. We celebrated his 80th birthday last October with a big party at the Hilton in Brussels. It was the first time I even heard of him. Since then I have seen several articles in the newspapers about him. I am very happy to know him.
